In Business Since 2015
My construction experience started on roofs. Early in my career, I specialized in metal roofs and eventually joined the Sheet Metal Workers’ Union Local 104. I worked there for 18 years.
In 2014, I installed solar on my own home as a first effort to bring better health to my finances. I began consulting others for their self-installed projects under the name Help You Build Solar.
I fell in love with it! I moved into financial health and have helped many customers do so as well.
My passion for solar did not originate from the green movement. I think environmental conservation is a wonderful idea, but my passion for solar came from my financial resurrection. My own solar installation was a turning point in my finances. I can’t think of any more sensible investment than going solar.
My business evolved into Mirador Energy. Today, we are a full-service licensed (1038606) solar contractor. We have been blessed with the best customers imaginable. At Mirador Energy, we do not pay for reviews like many in the industry. For every posted review, we can provide a phone number of our happy customer willing to share their experience.
As a company, we are committed to healthy growth. In dealing with our suppliers, we have been cash operational. Furthermore, we have chosen to remain independent rather than pay the high price of joining the umbrella of one of the large national solar companies. We are not burdened with the need for high volume to pay for high overhead. We plan to be around long after the next recession to support our 25 year warranties.
Our primary focus at Mirador Energy is photovoltaic solar installation, but we offer several other services: energy storage, roofing, HVAC, swimming pool solar heaters, tankless water heaters, energy efficient upgrades, and other home improvements.
